Ninth Brain Gives Back – Hamilton Emergency Medical Services

Ninth Brain announces the first recipient of their program Ninth Brain Gives Back.  Hamilton Emergency Medical Services of Dalton, GA was honored with receiving the use of Ninth Brain Suite – a Software as a Service (SaaS) application to help manage their day-to-day operations.

Grand Rapids, MI – January 18, 2011

Ninth Brain is announcing that Hamilton Emergency Medical Services is the first EMS organization chosen to receive the use of Ninth Brain Suite through its program – Ninth Brain Gives Back.  For over 9 years, Ninth Brain has had tremendous success with its Software as a Service (SaaS) web application.  With success comes the ability to help other organizations that need assistance in getting their day-to-day management practices on the right track.  Scott Brady, President of Ninth Brain said, “We have worked at creating an application that will help Emergency Service operations succeed.  For many years we have had a successful product and now is the time to help an agency get back on track.”

Steve Athey, President of Health Care Visions nominated Hamilton EMS for Ninth Brain Gives Back.  Athey says, “Health Care Visions was retained by the Hamilton Healthcare System to consult with their ambulance division to improve efficiencies, increase revenues and reduce costs. The use of the Ninth Brain Suite of services will be highly beneficial to their improvement process.”

Previously, Hamilton EMS used a simple folder on a network to store forms and workflow tools, a bulletin board for course assignments, and various contracted entities for training.  Their major issue was an inability to form a cohesive system with forms and work flow processes, and a very inefficient process related to training.  Ricky Cobb, Director of Hamilton EMS states, “We expect Ninth Brain to help us in several  areas: by transferring already developed forms to a singular online access point available to all employees through Ninth Brain Suite; by helping assign different levels of training dependent upon skill set and area of responsibility, and then to adequately track that training; and finally, to further develop a communications network throughout the organization which will enhance efficiencies, increase effectiveness, and ultimately restore our status as a revenue center instead of a cost center within our Health Care System.”

Ninth Brain is working with other EMS consultants to help identify additional emergency service operations that will be nominated for the program, Ninth Brain Gives Back.
