OSHA Reminds Employers to Post Injury-Illness SummariesThe Occupational Safety and Health Administration reminds employers that beginning Feb. 1, 2008, they must post a summary of the total number of job-related injuries and illnesses that occurred during 2007. Employers are required to post OSHA Form 300A (summary). The 2007 summary must be posted from Feb. 1 to April 30, 2008. The Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) is a branch of the US Department of Labor. "OSHA's mission is to assure the safety and health of America's workers by setting and enforcing standards; providing training, outreach, and education; establishing partnerships; and encouraging continual improvement in workplace safety and health."
