National Registry of EMT's Services EMS Sector

The National Registry of EMTs (NREMT) is an organization developed to facilitate standardization of training and competencies of EMS professionals. The NREMT provides four areas of service including: Entry level competency assessment, A Registry of nationally certified EMS professionals, Re-certification of competencies, and Research that benefits the EMS community.

National Registry certification has become a requirement in several states in the United States and provides a mechanism for EMS personnel to demonstrate core competencies in the required knowledge and skill areas of their profession.

Ninth Brain Suites (NBS) offers continuing education courses approved by the Continuing Education Coordinating Board for EMS (CECBEMS) that provides accredited personnel with CEUs meeting NREMT re-certification requirements. Within NBS, individuals may take courses, view their Education & Training records, view their CE activity records charted against the NREMT continuing education requirements and print certificates of course completion.

If members of your staff are nationally registered, NBS provides a powerful tool to enable EMS professionals to meet re-certification requirements and to maintain the required documentation of CE activities.
